PaddleSizer exists because the first question every new paddler asks is a sizing question: what size board for my weight, what weight capacity kayak, how long a paddle, which life jacket size. The answers are arithmetic, so we built calculators that do the arithmetic and then show gear that fits the result.

Everything on the site is researched from manufacturer specifications, stated capacity ratings, U.S. Coast Guard life jacket classes and verified owner reviews. We do not test products in person and never claim to. Where a listing does not state a figure, we say so rather than guess.
